Overview

Mr. Berger’s practice as a “Forensic Security Consultant” entails two primary functions:

  1. Providing a service to either Plaintiff or Defense Attorneys engaged in a matter where “security” or “law enforcement”, are relevant issues to the litigation and where expert testimony may be required.
  2. Consulting with Corporations and businesses requiring the services of a Security Consultant for the following reasons:
    • The business desires a general evaluation of their security department’s performance including the proper installation of whatever security hardware is installed. (i.e. CCTV, alarms, access control, communications, security officer functions, etc.)
    • Design and implementation of a security system, either in total or in part for a business either developing security for the first time or simply adding a particular function to be employed by an existing security department.
    • It should be noted that, relevant to the above functions, Mr. Berger is the author of “Industrial Security”, one of the primary basic college and university texts in security, first published in 1979 and is still actively on the market.  This work thoroughly covers the development of a security system from the ground up all the way from a small “mom and pop” business to a multi-national operation.
